HellWrld is a personal project and brand that I have been conceptualizing and building since 2022. Using my own art and vision, HellWrld is built on dark aesthetics with subtly uplifting and motivating messaging. Creating and iterating on the design language and branding of HellWrld began as a way to challenge myself, while also giving me a way to promote my art and design abilities. Over the past years, I have designed, produced, and sold posters, digital assets, and clothing under the HellWrld moniker. This is a project that will evolve and adapt as I continue to grow and evolve as a designer, artist, and human.
Shirts
One of the first projects I made for HellWrld was a batch of shirt concepts. These mockup shirts served as a good way of establishing some of the imagery and aesthetics that would be used moving forward. These mockups were made with Photoshop.
Posters & Prints
Over the course of 2022-23, I created a limited line of posters and art prints for HellWrld. I used this time to help me understand how to balance the conflicting design philosophies and find my style. I learned a lot from making these pieces, and have grown creatively and technically from the challenge. All of the items featured were created using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
In 2024, HellWrld shirts will official enter production, with a new set of designs that follow the more complete and consistent design philosophy of the posters. The following assets were made in Photoshop.
